The world of billiards is uniting for an important cause as the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA) announces a series of Clean Sport Education Webinars, commencing on September 24, 2025. These webinars, in collaboration with the ITA-ARISF Clean Sport Education initiative, aim to elevate the understanding of anti-doping practices and the ethical responsibilities athletes must uphold in the sport.
Understanding the Importance of Anti-Doping
Each session of the webinar series is crafted to educate participants about vital topics related to anti-doping. For instance, the introductory session on September 24 will cover the rights and responsibilities of athletes, potential violations, and the consequences of doping. This proactive education is particularly crucial for the billiards community, as it empowers players to act responsibly and uphold the integrity of their sport.

- The Prohibited List, Medications, TUEs, and Supplements: Understanding Strict Liability - October 1, 14:00–15:00 CEST
- Testing Procedures: Insight into Testing Procedures and Whereabouts - October 8, 14:00–15:00 CEST
Certification: A Reward for Participation
Participants who engage in at least one live webinar or access the recordings will have the chance to earn an IF Webinar Series Certificate. This not only enhances their credentials but also showcases their commitment to clean sport practices.
